This is a giant 2,800 square foot home where every room needs love, and lots of it. We're do-ers. We like instant improvement and change like any millennial. This has been a true test of our patience. And it's expensive stuff. One couldn't begin to imagine what a place like this would cost to build today. The character and charm is impeccable and I love it, but the work and the to-do list is pretty daunting. Another wallpaper-stripping/have-over-everyone-we-know day is on Sunday. Here's to getting lots done... and filling a 25 foot dumpster.
There's a momma and four kittens that like to hang around. They're the descendants of the former owner's cat, supposedly. Danny really loves the black one and named him Fudge. They're very wild, but he's determined to make Fudge his new best buddy. Last night the attempt to bait Fudge with bread didn't go well. I don't like cats, but I don't like mice either. I will put up with Fudge! It's been fun to see Danny with very his first pet.
