If you've been following me on social media, I've inundated your feed with all things Oktoberfest. The popular October weekend in Minster, Ohio is upon us (October weather certainly showed its face today too). By popular request, I've created a fresh new visual, representing all that is the German tradition of Oktoberfest. This project celebrates heritage, always a venture I have a soft spot for.. the kind that makes me swell with joy when I get it just right. I first designed the logo, which was inspired by traditional German folk art. As you'll see below, each part of the German flourish has historic significance. After designing, I worked tirelessly to curate a timeless collection of home and paper goods, perfect for your every fall occasion. These items will be for sale this weekend.
So many of you have reached out with kind words, encouragement and questions about the how and when. Thank you for that! This is The Olivine's first "big show," other than the summer farmers market. Please note that we will have limited quantities of each item, but will re-order items as needed. It's very difficult to guess how many of each item will sell when 80,000 people come annually. The Oktoberfest Arts & Crafts tent will be open during these times. You'll find The Olivine at booth #21. Friday, October 2: 6pm-10pm | Saturday, October 3: 10am-10pm | Sunday, October 4: 10am-5pm
Thanks for making room for me in your inbox. Wishing you the best weekend.
