I'm back with another great summer recipe for you to try, and it's got that sweet-heat that I can handle (I'm not a huge HOT salsa fan). Try this with chips, on chicken tacos, or just by the spoonful like yours truly tends to do. Print, share and enjoy, friends!
I want to send out a special Happy Father's Day wish to all of the Dads out there! A huge shout out goes to my own Dad, who just nailed his second ever hole in one yesterday. Way to go, Papa John!
Saturday morning was my opening day at the Troy Farmers Market, and it started out with a gloomy downpour of showers, which made for a pretty chaotic set-up. After about an hour of downpour and drizzle, the rain cleared and the people came. Troy, I was blown away by your support and purchases. I'm feeling incredibly grateful, and so excited to go back this coming Saturday. The tea towels and aprons were a hit. Special thanks goes to Danny, who kept my spirits high during the monsoon, and my coffee filled to the brim after my first cup exploded on me. Not to mention, the old ladies just loved him.
Seeing posts like this on social media after the market made my heart want to burst. "Well, hello! #TroyFarmersMarket #berrynice" Thanks, Megan!
In other homestead news, Danny's parents brought down some old projects of his this weekend. Here's his first 'hydraulic system' from high school, which opens a can. Gotta love industrial tech class. Don't you love his Chippewa lanyard too? Fire up!
We've got hydrangeas blooming bigger than softballs! Have a great week, everyone.
